In 2087, a massive, organic, and conscious structure is discovered during a drilling operation in the depths of Antarctica. This structure is one of the Worms among the organic gateways of the universe. Humanity is facing this structure for the first time. A team entering for exploration gets lost in a layer of the universe where time and physics can be incredibly complex. The civilizations they encounter inside, the lost people, and the deep cosmic secrets will make them question their hopes of returning to Earth and the meaning of being human.

With a new discovery, the unknown physical boundaries of the Earth are emerging: The universe has a layered structure, and what we know as "space" is actually just one of the upper layers. However, even more intriguing are the Worms, the massive organic structures that connect the layers of the universe. These beings have a living structure that digests space over time; the inside of each worm opens up to mini-universes that operate under entirely different physical laws.

A group of scientists and historians get trapped inside a worm and encounter a mysterious civilization where time flows differently, and immortality and curse intertwine. However, every hour they spend inside this worm corresponds to a full century in the outside world.

Concept: What's the Difference?

Up until now, very few books have employed a plot in which "interdimensional travel occurs through the digestive systems of organic, living beings."

"Additionally, the worms here can also be thought of as living black holes, but the difference in what is meant in this book is that they are organic, conscious, and have their purposes. Some help humanity, while others try to pull the world into their layer.

• Malik Orhan: A Turkish-origin geologist and mythology enthusiast. While trying to decipher the organic formations in the structure of the worm, he discovers that ancient myths might actually be describing the organic nature of the universe.

• Carys Elion: A young and rebellious historian. Throughout history, Carys Elion pursues the myths of “Swallowed Civilizations.” He traces the remnants of ancient civilizations lost within the worm.

• Worm (Var’Noth): A conscious, cosmic, and organic being. This species is a type of living worm that digests time. Although its purpose remains unclear, it observes humanity.
